We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive/Coordinator with previous B2C experience to join our team. They will be responsible for managing our marketing channels for both brands; including social media, email, and our websites and will be responsible for design too. Reporting to our MD, our Marketing Coordinator will work across all areas of the business, promoting our Farm Park and Wedding Venue and drive brand awareness, engagement, ticket sales and wedding bookings.
Who are we?
Since opening in 1992, Cattle Country Farm Park has become one of Gloucestershire’s largest tourist attractions with over 130,000 visitors per year. We pride ourselves on our huge range of indoor and outdoor play, farm animals, GRAZE café, retail and seasonal events. Alongside Cattle Country is The Barn at Berkeley, our wedding and events venue on the same site. We are very lucky to have lots of ‘content’ here already, we’re just looking for the perfect person to turn this into meaningful marketing campaigns that deliver our business objectives!
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
This is a varied role, working with the MD and wider Management Team to develop the Marketing Strategies for Cattle Country and The Barn at Berkeley. Our Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating the content to deliver this strategy with tangible results across all relevant channels and platforms
Creating different campaigns throughout the year; from brand awareness to the launch and promotion of seasonal events,
Working with photographers and videographers as well as creating ‘behind the scenes’ content from Cattle Country
Website management for Cattle Country & The Barn at Berkeley
Social Media management & interaction on Meta, Google and so on
>Creating content and posting regularly to increase engagement
>Working alongside our Farm Park Management Team to interact with our followers and visitors, ensuring that we always maintain a professional and helpful manner that is appropriate to the communications channel
Email Marketing
Design
>On site promotion, predominantly using digital screens
>Informational and safety signage
>Event assets
>On site interpretation, specifically relating to our farm
Essential requirements
A creative individual with previous experience of B2C marketing and creating high quality photo, video and written content across all social media platforms in a similar or relevant environment (such as hospitality, retail, leisure, weddings & events)
Knowledge of the marketing landscape and an eye for trends in the leisure and wedding industries
Commercial awareness with strong analytical and campaign evaluation skills
An expert at using all social media platforms, in a B2C environment (applicants with purely B2B experience will not be considered, sorry)
Previous experience of website management and email marketing
Experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Confident working independently and alongside our wider management team, building great relationships across our businesses
Highly organised with a can-do attitude
Flexible and able to work varied hours during seasonal events and holidays
This is a permanent role based in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. Part time hours (minimum 3 days per week) would be considered provided the candidate is flexible and able to work additional hours during events and holidays as required.

We are looking to recruit experienced Duty Managers to support our Farm Park Management Team with the smooth day-to-day running of Cattle Country Farm Park.
Working closely with the Farm Park Management team and other Duty Managers, you’ll be responsible for the daily running of the Farm Park, managing both staff operations and visitor experience, to deliver an excellent day out for our customers and a happy working environment for our staff. You will also play a key role in preparing the park for days it is open, as well as planning and delivering special events throughout the year
Key areas of training and responsibilities
Lead and motivate the Farm Park Team on days the park is open, being the main point of contact during opening hours
Deputise for the Farm Park Manager/Assistant Manager in their absence, working alongside other Managers to ensure the smooth running of the park and key operations within it such as Graze Café and Animal Barn
Ensure the Park is well maintained and ready to open
Delegate daily tasks and ensuring that a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times
Assist with training new starters and team members
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, setting an example to the wider team
Assist with the set up and delivery of special events throughout the year
Look for ways to enhance the customer experience with new ideas, operational improvements, and the day-to-day running of the park
Provide support to the wider business where necessary, working closely with our Café Manager and Animal Barn Manager
Key holder with responsibility for cashing up and end of day procedures
Deal with complaints and questions
Supervise parties and school visits
Have a good understanding of all business areas and the site layout/locations
Assist with stock take and stock replenishment in our Gift Shop
Job requirements
You must have previous experience in a similar or relevant environment such as retail, leisure or a visitor attraction at Duty Manager level
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Have a smart and professional appearance
Be flexible and able to work additional hours when required
Be highly organised and able to use initiative to solve problems
Confident managing a large team
Calm when working under pressure
Highly organised with a can-do attitude
First Aid training and experience
You must be able to work one day at the weekends, and during school holidays where additional hours are available
Full training will be provided to the successful candidates

Cattle Country Farm Park’s Animal Barn and Farm trail are popular attractions throughout the year and we are looking for confident and enthusiastic front of house hosts for our Animal Barn.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Feeding, cleaning out and caring for our small animals and poultry
Greeting and interacting with our visitors and running our daily schedule of Animal Barn activities, which varies throughout the year and includes animal feeding, interactive talks and petting sessions
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the day
You will be part of the wider Farm Park team and may also be required to work in other similar roles as required
Job Requirements
Previous experience of working with a variety of animals would be beneficial but is not essential and full training will be provided by our Livestock Manager and Farm Park Manager
You must have an interest in animals and be confident when handling small animals
This is a hands-on role so you must be enthusiastic and keen to learn about the breeds we keep
A friendly, calm and confident manner with excellent customer service skills
This is a public facing role and you will be expected to present to our visitors in an informative and entertaining way
This is a part time role with the opportunity to work additional hours during holiday periods. You must be able to work at least one day each weekend
