Lambing experiences & events
Lambing season is one of our favourite times of year here at Cattle Country. The Animal Barn is buzzing with excitement and our new arrivals are the stars of the show. Come and learn all about how we care for our young animals.
Our lamb events
Join us this lambing season and meet our new fluffy friends at the farm. From live lambing and Meet The Lambs sessions to bottle feeding from March, a jam-packed season of discovery and adventure is waiting for you this Spring.
Meet the lambs
Ever wondered what goes on at a farm during lambing season? Or want to know some fun facts about our newborns? We have the answers. Come sit in one of our Meet The Lamb sessions, where you get a real insight into lambing season and find out what our farmers get up to during their day to day.
Our sessions take place daily at 11am and 3pm. There’s no need to book in advance simply arrive at our Animal Barn and enjoy the talk.
Live lambing
Make sure to check in at our Animal Barn throughout the day, as you might be lucky enough to catch some live lambing! Our pregnant ewes, newborns and their mothers will be living in the Barn until it’s warm enough for them to join the Farm Trail.
Lamb Bottle Feeding
Our lamb bottle feeding sessions run from the 7th March until 12th April 2026. These memorable sessions give you a chance to spend hands-on time with our newborn lambs and are fun for all the family - but spaces are limited, so book your tickets in advance to avoid missing out!

Easter at the farm park
Join us for the easter holidays where you’ll find lots of exciting activities. The Easter bunny will also be hopping by and hiding some special golden eggs around the park. If you’re lucky enough to find one, hand it to a member of staff to claim your prize. You can also get crafty with seasonal crowns and enjoy bunny face paint.
Fun for all
We like to keep the fun going all year round at Cattle Country, which is why some of our activities are seasonal. To plan your day and see what’s in store for your visit, make sure to check out our What’s On and Events pages before you arrive so you don’t miss out.

Pregnant Women: Some livestock, especially sheep, goats, and cattle, can carry infections like Toxoplasmosis in birthing fluids. To protect yourself and your baby, it’s best to avoid close contact with these animals.
We recommend pregnant visitors ❌ avoid touching sheep, goats, and cattle, and like everyone else, ✅ wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after visiting animals, before eating, drinking, or touching your face.
These infections are rare, and very few pregnancies are affected. Advice from the Government can be found here, and the NHS here.
