Lamb Feeding

Our Animal Care team have been busy looking after our new arrivals, but they need some help. Come and bottle feed our lambs and learn more about how we look after young animals at Cattle Country.

Children aged 4 and above have the exciting opportunity to bottle feed members of our flock - a hands-on, educational experience that they won’t forget. Each session features talks from our Animal Care Team, who’ll share how we look after our lambs, as well as insights into farmyard life.
Please note: This activity must be booked online in advance when you purchase your farm park tickets to avoid any disappointment on the day.
What you need to know
Our lamb feeding experience kicks off on 7th March 2026 and will run to mid April. As our lambs are on a controlled diet, the number of children able to take part in this experience is very limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s what you need to know when booking your session:
Age group: children aged 4 - 17 years. You will need one ticket for each child taking part.
Time of sessions: 11am and 3pm. Please arrive at the Animal Barn ready for your time slot.
Adults are welcome, but we ask that you watch the activity from the side of the pen (unless your child requires assistance).

If we have tickets available for the date of your visit, you will be able to add them to your basket when you check out with your farm park tickets.
The Animal Barn
Lambs are usually the stars of the show during Spring, but don’t forget to pay a visit to our other new arrivals. Located in our Animal Barn, you can meet some of our smallest and cutest animals during our daily petting sessions, such as rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks.
As for our larger farmyard friends, our cheeky goats, alpacas and mini Shetland ponies await you at our Farm Trail, just grab some feed from the gift shop ready for your trip around the trail.
Spring into the season at Cattle Country
It’s not just our Spring babies to see at Cattle Country (although they certainly have the spotlight!) Clean out the cobwebs this season at our indoor and outdoor play areas. Run wild at our Castle adventure play and Cowshed, or challenge the family to a round of mini golf as you explore our farm park.
