Easter at our farm park

Egg-citing adventures await you at Cattle Country this Spring, where you can hunt for the golden eggs, feed newborn lambs and meet the Easter Bunny as part of our Easter farm attractions.

From 28th March-12th April (as per Gloucestershire term dates), join us for a fun-filled adventure packed with Springtime activities, farmyard animals and Easter magic.

Easter farmyard activities

Whether you want to jump straight into the Easter egg hunt, get crafty and make Easter crowns or pay a visit to the smallest members of our farm, there’s something for everyone at Cattle Country.

Most activities are included in your day ticket, making it easier than ever for all the family to get involved. Please note that some sessions need to be booked in advance, and availability varies with the weather, so we recommend visiting the What’s On page ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment. 

The golden egg hunt

Keep your eyes peeled, the Easter Bunny has hidden golden eggs throughout the farm! f you’re lucky enough to spot one, take it to a member of staff to claim your prize. You may even see the Easter Bunny hopping around the park, ready to snap some photos with you and hand out sweet treats.

Our Easter petting farm

Chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and more are waiting to meet you in our Animal Barn, home to our smallest animals. Our daily petting sessions let you get up close and personal with our newest arrivals as you learn more about them and their mothers. 

You can also purchase animal feed from the gift shop and head out to our Farm Trail to meet sheep, goats, alpacas and more, or hitch a tractor ride to see our rare-breed cattle herd.

Our Animal Care Team are offering the very special opportunity for a limited number of children to join the bottle feeding of our lambs.

As the lambs are on a controlled diet, tickets to take part are restricted and allocated on a first come first served basis.

    Everyone’s favourite spring character will be hopping over to Cattle Country every day during the Easter break and handing out sweet treats.
