Looking for an autumn adventure the whole family will love? Our October event is bursting with things to do, from picking the perfect pumpkin to meeting friendly farm animals, playing in our massive barns, riding tractors and more. Throw on your wellies and join us from 10am-4pm for heaps of fun, food, and fresh air.

Get ready for an unforgettable visit to one of Gloucestershire’s most-loved pumpkin farms. Our pumpkin patch and farm experience is bigger than ever this year, with thousands of pumpkins to pick across a spacious, family-friendly patch.

And the fun doesn’t stop at pumpkin picking! Get stuck into autumn crafts, enjoy family-friendly games, and hunt for spooky surprises across the park. Little ones (and grown-ups!) will love climbing, bouncing and exploring our 2 HUGE indoor play barns and acres of outdoor adventure.

No visit is complete without meeting the stars of Cattle Country, our animals! Tickets include full access to the Animal Barn and Farm Trail, where you can join in with daily petting sessions and feed some of our friendliest residents.

How does pumpkin picking work?

Here’s what to expect on the day:

  • Arrive at the park and check in at the main admission gates

  • Enjoy the farm park and play areas at your own pace

  • When you're ready, head through the marquee to the pumpkin patch

  • Grab a wheelbarrow or ride-on tractor and explore the patch

  • Pay for your pumpkins as you exit the patch (prices start at £1, based on size)

  • Explore more of the park, your ticket includes full access to the park all day long

  • The Pumpkin Patch will be open:

    • Every weekend in October (4th & 5th, 11th & 12th, 18th & 19th, 25th & 26th)

    • Every day during October half term (25th - 31st)

    The Pumpkin Patch is included in the cost of your Cattle Country Farm Park ticket.

    To visit the Pumpkin Patch, please book a Cattle Country ticket for one of the following dates:

    • Weekends in October (4th & 5th, 11th & 12th, 18th & 19th, 25th & 26th)

    • October half term (25th - 31st)

  • No, please take your pumpkins home to decorate or carve.

  • You certainly can! Prices start from £1 and depend on size.

    Please note: We accept card or contactless payments only

  • Most of the pumpkins we grow are easily transported by hand, but, if you do need a hand to get your hoard back to the car park, we can lend you a wheelbarrow.

  • Yes! The taste however, will depend on the variety you choose. See our on-site signage for more information.

  • The Farm Park itself is fully accessible for wheelchair users - find more info here.

    Depending on the weather, the Pumpkin Patch might be a little tricky to navigate on wheels. Most of the area is laid to grass (which is where all of the games and lots of pumpkins can be found).

    If you have any questions on the day or need assistance, please speak to a member of our team - they will be very happy to help.

  • The Farm Park itself is fully accessible to pushchairs - find more info here.

    Depending on the weather, the Pumpkin Patch might be a little tricky to navigate on wheels. Most of the area is laid to grass (which is where all of the games and lots of pumpkins can be found). The area where we have been growing our own pumpkins is very uneven, bare soil and not suitable for pushchairs.

    There will be room to store your pushchair inside the Pumpkin Patch marquee, which is staffed by our team.

  • Sturdy footwear that you don't mind getting a little muddy, warm clothes and your tickets!

  • We'll be opening the Pumpkin Patch whatever the weather!

    Bring waterproof coats, warm clothing and wear sturdy footwear so that you're ready for the autumnal British weather and able to make the most of your day.

    We will not be offering refunds for inclement weather.

  • No, with the exception of assistance dogs, we do not permit dogs anywhere on site.

  • They will be fed to our animals or taken home by our team.
