Our rates are

  • 6 plus visitors admission price less 10%
  • 20 plus visitors admission price less 15%
  • 100 plus visitors admission price less 20%
  • Surplus tickets may be purchased at the discounted rate and used at a later date.
  • If you are an organized group (such as Brownies or Holiday Playscheme) it is important that you let us know before your visit. It is also necessary to complete a terms and conditions form, and post or e-mail it to use before you come.
  • Unless you are a private group it will be necessary for you to prepare a risk assessment for your visit. This must be done yourself, but you are welcome to use our assessments to help you prepare your document.

Pre-school and other special group visits Our rates are

£4.50 per person (under 3’s are free)2 staff/organizers go free.  Minimum group charge is £90.

Cattle Country is ideal for toddlers.  Special rates are available during term    time and, because it is closed to the public, the park tends to be quieter.  Please note that supervision is your responsibility and some facilities will not be available.  There is limited on-site catering.     

Pre-booking is essential and a term and conditions form must be completed.

Time available 10.00 am – 3.30 pm.  Cattle Country is a great place for a school visit – either as a fun day out,  or combined with educational content.  Pre-booking is essential.   Please note that supervision is your responsibility and some facilities will not be available.  There is limited on-site catering.

Educational visits
Educational visits

There is defra sponsorship available for a limited number of educational visits.  This lasts for a minimum of 2 hours. 

Your trip can be tailor made to suit your individual needs. The centre is able to cover any aspect of farming or the environment and is well aware of the requirements of the national curriculum. 

 Topics could include:

  • Habitats
  • Conservation on Farms
  • The History of Bison in North America
  • Farm Diversification
  • Evolution

We prefer to discuss the details of a visit with a teacher beforehand, and are always pleased to give staff a preview.  A trailer ride into the bison herd is included.  After lunch children may use the park play facilities for a fee of £2.75 per child.    All teachers and helpers are free.

Non-Educational visits

This is purely a fun day out and often used by schools as a reward for achievements during the year. 

Our rates are 

£5.00 per child. Teachers/assistants go free. Minimum group charge of £100.
